17th Annual KED Gala & Charity Golf Tournament

The 17th Annual Kids Escaping Drugs Gala & Golf Tournament, that was held on July 15 and 16 at the prestigious Brookfield Country Club, raised over $129,000 for the Kids Escaping Drugs Campaign. Since its inception in 1990, the Kids Escaping Drugs Gala & Golf Tournament has raised over a million dollars for the Renaissance Campus; Western New York’s only residential treatment facility for teens suffering from the disease of drug and alcohol addiction.

The event started with a gala auction and gourmet dinner Sunday evening. Event Co-Chairs John Berger, Jr. of Lawley Benefit Groups and Greg Altman of Somerset Production Company, LLC led a dedicated committee in orchestrating another highly successful fundraiser for the organization. Robin Clouden, Interim Executive Director of Kids Escaping Drugs says, “We are blessed to have the support of so many in the community whose generous spirit and unmatched commitment help to ensure our continued growth and vitality. We are eternally grateful for their support.”

The event continued on Monday with a full field of golfers. Major event sponsors include Lawley Benefits Group, BlueCross BlueShield, Bliss Construction, Channel 2, Coca Cola Buffalo, Certo Brothers Distributing, Palladian Health and KeyBank.
